Depending on the type and extent of the procedure, a slightly visible scar may appear on the inside of the upper arm. Due to a targeted incision in the inner area of the upper arm, the scar is usually only visible during certain arm movements. If the scars are treated consistently, only subtle, fine lines normally remain, which gradually fade.
Targeted follow-up treatment of the scars can contribute to positive regeneration. It is also advisable to refrain from physical exertion or excessive movements of the upper arms in the first 6 months.
With an upper arm lift, the result can be seen immediately after the procedure. The excess skin has been removed and a tighter contour of the upper arms can already be seen, despite any swelling.
