- Membership of Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty’s Committee between 2005 and 2009, for four years
- Between 2002 and 2003, worked as a “medical scientist” with “University of Washington, Puget Sound Blood Centre” scholarship on blood banking and congenital haemolytic anaemia.
- Responsible for the flow cytometric lab of Istanbul Medical Faculty Haematology Clinic.
- In 2000 became haematology specialist with a thesis called “Assessment of effects of immune-phenotyping characteristics on diagnosis in acute lymphoblastic leukaemia patients.
- Worked as a chief assistant in 1995, at Istanbul Medical Faculty Department of Internal Disease, Haematology Discipline.
- Became internal diseases specialist in 1995.
- In 1992 worked 3 months at the clinic of cardiology “Massachusetts General Hospital” (Harvard Medical School, Boston).
- Assistant in Department of Internal Diseases of Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1990.
- Between 1989 and 1990 worked in Beyoğlu State Hospital as an intern for obligatory service.
- Entered to Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1983 and graduated in 1989.
